What is the difference between a medical spa and a traditional day spa?
Traditional day spas offer relaxing and luxurious beauty treatments such as facials, massages, and nail treatments. In contrast, Medical Spas offer more advanced, medically supervised treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, body contouring, and medical grade skincare.

WHAT ARE YOUR GENERAL TREATMENT GUIDELINES?
General Treatment Guidelines
-
Treatment should be postponed if you are currently ill, have an active infection, open lesion, or are taking antibiotics. If your body is actively fighting an infection, it is safest to reschedule your appointment. Please notify our office prior to treatment if this applies to you.
-
For all laser treatments, you must not be taking photosensitizing medications. This includes antibiotics such as doxycycline, minocycline, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, or Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim), as well as any medication that increases light sensitivity. Please inform us of all medications prior to treatment.
-
Avoid spray tans and self-tanner prior to laser treatments and Botox/Dysport, as the area will be cleansed before treatment to ensure safety and reduce infection risk.
-
For dermal filler and Sculptra treatments, please avoid vaccines and dental cleanings for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your appointment.
-
Do you have financing options?
Yes, we offer CareCredit, PatientFi, and Cherry, and we accept both cash and credit card payments.
What can I expect from the treatment experience at Beautify Chi?

Are the results of non-surgical cosmetic treatments permanent?
Is numbing required for each treatment?
Numbing is not required for all treatments; however, we do highly recommend numbing for Microneedling, Morpheus8 and some injectable treatments. Numbing times will vary depending on the treatment being performed. This will be built into the treatment time for the procedure being booked.
